Bishop Paul Rochester is the General Secretary of the Free Churches Group (FCG). The Free Churches Group is an ecumenical body of twenty-six denominations and church groups. The FCG seeks to express the unity in Christ that is shared by Free Churches in England and Wales by promoting fellowship, shared counsel and working together. There is a particular focus on chaplaincy work in Prisons, Healthcare and Education although much wider issues in these areas and other fields are considered. As General Secretary, Paul serves both the Directors and Group members, providing day to day oversight of the organisation.

Paul is also an ordained minister in the Church of God of Prophecy with over 35 years’ service. He is currently Senior Pastor for a Church in South London and has regional oversight for eight churches.
