Barbara is currently Head of Service for the Methodist Academies and Schools Trust, the body that looks after all the Methodist schools in the country. Her background is in school leadership (in both church and community schools), school improvement and religious education. She is a seasoned SIAMS inspector, and has written about the work of schools of a religious character across the wider faith spectrum. Her current interests lie in the bridge between church schools and secular communities, and supporting chaplains to carry the genome of faith in their busy school communities.
