Mike is formed and framed by faith, family, friends and fell-running. He is a priest and teacher who has served as a chaplain in almost every level of education, in other chaplaincy sectors and in parishes and a cathedral. He is currently Chaplaincy Adviser for the Diocese of Bath and Wells and Chair of Trustees for the Centre for Chaplaincy in Education.
It was while serving as youth worker at Cape Town Cathedral that Mike saw, in a new way how faith could transform our lives and our world. Alongside working at the Cathedral and at a drop in centre for street children, Mike was an official observer for the first democratic elections in 1994. The call to look out from our churches and live and share the love, justice, peace and hope of God has formed and framed all of Mike’s life and ministry in parishes and chaplaincies.
