Jenny Flannagan is an adolescent counsellor, a trainee psychotherapist, a writer and actress, and currently manages Alumina (for Youthscape), a national online support service for 14 to 19 year olds struggling with self-harm. This means that before the pandemic struck she was already spending half her week staring at a computer screen supporting teenagers’ mental health, and she has continued it over the past year, alongside a day a week in the NHS, a continuing MA and the joys of home-schooling. She lives in Luton with her family and loves any new creative challenge.
