Sarah Lane Cawte is the Education Officer for the Free Churches Group of England and Wales. She started her career as an RE teacher, and taught in both secondary and primary schools, before moving into an education development role with the Bible Society. She has produced resources for teachers and pupils, written about the history of education in the Free Churches and has a research interest in Collective Worship. Sarah is the project lead for Education Sunday, is a Board member of the Religious Education Council and Christian Education/RE Today, chairs the Agreed Syllabus Conference for Essex SACRE, and is a governor in a group of four rural Church of England primary schools in Essex.
