Mary’s Meals provides one good meal every day for hungry children at school in some of the world’s poorest countries. The promise of these life-changing meals attracts children to the classroom, where they receive an education that can, in the future, be their ladder out of poverty. Mary’s Meals feeds more than 1.8 million children in 19 countries around the world including Malawi, Zambia, Liberia, Kenya and India.  

The charity spends at least 93% of donations directly on its charitable activities. This is only possible because much of its work is done by a multitude of dedicated volunteers both in the UK and globally. The average global cost to feed one child for a whole school year with Mary’s Meals is just £15.90.
